For Professionals
Restoring balance where structure and the nervous system meet...
TMJ and myofascial dysfunctions often live at the intersection of soft tissue restriction, cranial strain, and nervous system over-activation. My work integrates neurofascial, craniosacral-inspired techniques, myofascial release, and targeted soft-tissue therapy to bring the jaw, head, neck and the full body pattern back into functional harmony.
A Calming, Systemic Approach
Rather than isolating the joint, treatments focus on the whole cranio-cervical landscape — the fascia, dural membranes, and neural pathways that influence jaw mobility and pain perception. Sessions can often extend to areas restricted by posture or injury, such as hips, lower back or shoulders and arms.
Sessions begin by soothing the sympathetic nervous system, allowing the body to shift out of protective tension and into a parasympathetic state where release and recalibration can occur. Through slow, precise touch, we work with:
-
The cranial and dural fascia, helping ease strain patterns that impact mandibular tracking and head alignment.
-
The vagal and cranial nerve pathways, supporting improved tone, down-regulation, and functional coordination.
-
The deep fascial layers of the jaw, neck, and upper thorax — releasing restrictions that perpetuate asymmetry and discomfort.
-
Optional intraoral work, with consent, to address the internal musculature (pterygoids, masseter, temporalis) that directly influence TMJ function.
This gentle but comprehensive method relieves the overactivity of the sympathetic system while promoting improved joint mobility, alignment, and resilience. Myofascial and massage techniques are often integrated into each session to meet your patient's results.
Referrals & Collaborative Care
My practice supports patients who experience:
-
TMJ pain, clenching, or bruxism
-
Headaches, facial tightness, or ear pressure
-
Postural strain affecting mandibular balance
-
Nervous system dysregulation, chronic stress patterns, or jaw-related sleep disturbances
Collaboration is always welcome. With patient consent, I provide brief progress updates and coordinate care with dentists, orthodontists, PTs, chiropractors, and myofunctional therapists. I recognize that complex cases require multi-modality approaches.
Our shared goal: to create a regulated, balanced foundation that enhances your patient’s response to dental, orthodontic, or rehabilitative interventions.
The Treatment Experience
Sessions are intentionally unhurried. The space itself is designed to downshift the nervous system — low light, quiet breath, a rhythm of care aligned with your patient's needs.
Most patients notice a visible softening in the jaw and shoulders after their first few sessions. Over time, these changes anchor into stability and ease.
Frequency varies by case, though a short initial series of treatments often creates meaningful improvement.
Refined Collaboration
This is work that honors both precision and peace — bridging structural therapy and nervous system regulation.
If you’re a provider who believes that healing begins when the body feels safe, I welcome connection and collaboration. Together, we can support your patients in finding lasting ease, alignment, and relief.
